Dana Harris

Dana Harris serves as a full-time Lecturer of Integrated Business Technologies in the College of Business at Lubbock Christian University (LCU), concurrently pursuing her Ph.D. in Computer Science at Texas Tech University. Her industry background includes software development and database management roles at UPS prior to transitioning to education.

Her educational qualifications include:

• Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the University of North Texas
• Master of Education

Harris specializes in the convergence of business systems and technology, with research interests spanning integrated business technology frameworks, computer science pedagogy, enterprise database solutions, and software engineering applications in educational contexts. Her industry-to-academia trajectory informs practical, real-world approaches to technology instruction.

She began her higher education career in 2022 as an adjunct instructor at LCU and Tarrant County College after teaching high school technology courses in Birdville ISD. Her current focus integrates doctoral research with undergraduate instruction in business technology systems.
