Dan Stubbergaard is a Professor in Practice of Urban Design at Harvard University's Graduate School of Design (GSD), within the Department of Urban Planning and Design. Trained as an architect at The Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts, he founded the award-winning firm Cobe in 2006. His work focuses on creating resilient, human-centered urban environments that prioritize sustainability, reuse, and public accessibility.
Research & Projects: Key projects include the Nordhaven district (Copenhagen) and Paper Island (Copenhagen), both exemplifying his approach to transforming industrial sites into livable communities. His research explores themes like green mobility, urban nature integration, and systemic urban design strategies.
