Grace La is a Professor of Architecture and Chair of the Department of Architecture at Harvard University's Graduate School of Design (GSD). She co-founded LA DALLMAN Architects, recognized for integrating architecture, engineering, and landscape. Her work focuses on civic recalibration of infrastructure, public space, and challenging sites, earning awards such as the Emerging Voice (2010) and Rudy Bruner Silver Medal (2007).
Education: MArch (with thesis distinction) from GSD, AB in Visual and Environmental Studies (magna cum laude) from Harvard College.
Research & Practice: Specializes in urban infrastructure, housing, and public art. Projects include the Kilbourn Tower, Marsupial Bridge, and the Harmony Project. Her firm's work is published in Architect, Architectural Record, and books like Skycar City (2007).
Awards & Recognition: Includes four ACSA Faculty Design Awards, GSA National Registry membership, and adjudication roles for the NEA and AIA.
