Tim Love is a tenured Associate Professor at Northeastern University’s School of Architecture and a Lecturer in Real Estate at Harvard University’s Graduate School of Design (GSD). His expertise spans urban design, policy, real estate development, and zoning strategies. He leads Utile, an urban design and planning firm, and collaborates with municipalities, agencies, and developers to integrate financial, regulatory, environmental, and community considerations into place-specific design solutions.
Education: Bachelor of Architecture from the University of Virginia; Master of Architecture from Harvard GSD (with distinction and Henry Adams Medal).
Research & Teaching: Focuses on the intersection of urban design, policy, and real estate. Teaches at Northeastern, GSD, Yale, University of Toronto, and RISD. Courses include First Semester Core Urban Planning Studio and Design for Real Estate.
