Brie Hensold is a Design Critic in Urban Planning and Design at Harvard University's Graduate School of Design (GSD). She is also a co-founder and principal of Agency Landscape + Planning in Cambridge, focusing on integrating urban environments with natural systems, resilience, and social equity. Her work spans national planning and design projects, including vision plans for the White River in Indianapolis and the Boston Seaport public realm strategy.
Education: Masters of Urban Planning from Harvard GSD. She leads executive education courses on resilient cities at the GSD.
Research focuses on community engagement, environmental resilience, and equitable urban development. Projects emphasize collaboration between natural systems and urban infrastructure, addressing climate adaptation and cultural vitality.
