Dan Danielsen

Professor Dan Danielsen is a Professor of Law and Faculty Director of the Program on the Corporation, Law and Global Society at Northeastern University School of Law. He holds a BA from UCLA (1984) and a JD from Harvard Law School (1989). His research explores the role of corporations in global governance, focusing on supply chain capitalism, economic development, and the intersection of law with political economy. Prior to academia, he served as Executive Vice President and General Counsel at Europe Online Networks S.A. and was a partner at Foley Hoag & Eliot, specializing in corporate finance and international law.

His work emphasizes the need for rethinking corporate accountability and legal frameworks to address global inequality, particularly in the developing world. The Program on the Corporation, Law and Global Society, which he directs, facilitates interdisciplinary research on corporate power’s societal impact.
