Dr. Crystal Hughes is an Associate Professor of Curriculum and Instruction at West Texas A&M University's Terry B. Rogers College of Education, where she also serves as Executive Director of Educator Preparation and Director of Candidate Performance. She holds an Ed.D. in Supervision, Curriculum, and Instruction from Texas A&M University-Commerce.
Her research examines educational challenges facing low socio-economic and minority student populations, with publications on early childhood development and second language acquisition presented at national conferences. She teaches Integrated Language Arts/Social Studies and Educational Psychology at undergraduate and graduate levels.
