Cristina Goletti serves as Dean of the College of Performing and Visual Arts at the University of Northern Colorado. A dance educator and artist, her work bridges feminist leadership, somatic techniques, and choreographic thinking with a focus on socially aware practices.
Education
- MFA from the University of Colorado at Boulder with emphases in Gender Studies and Somatics
- Postgraduate Diploma from London Contemporary Dance School (LCDS), dancing with Edge, LCDS's Postgraduate Company
Research Interests center on dance pedagogy, interdisciplinary improvised performance, queer studies, and migration narratives. Her work explores the transformative potential of dance in educational and societal contexts.
Publications highlight the challenges of virtual dance education during the pandemic, emphasizing technology's role in teaching, embodied learning, and creative adaptation.
