Courtney Windham is an Associate Professor of Graphic Design at Auburn University’s School of Industrial and Graphic Design (SIGD). She teaches courses in kinetic typography, publication design, interactive media, and branding, emphasizing hands-on design processes using analog and digital mediums. Her work has been featured in prominent publications such as Graphis Design Annual, Creative Quarterly Journal, GDUSA Magazine, and LogoLounge Vol. 9.

Research Interests: Windham’s research spans interdisciplinary design methods, kinetic typography, motion design, branding, and sustainable visual communication. She co-authored Discovering the Design Process: Into the Beautiful Mess with Professor Margaret Fletcher, supported by Auburn University’s SEED grant program.

Windham collaborates annually with Auburn’s Rural Studio and the Front Porch Initiative to develop communication tools, illustrations, and social media assets. She and her husband, Jerrod Windham, also conduct custom kinetic mobile workshops through their venture, Counter Balance Mobiles.
