Colomba Pecchioli is an Adjunct Professor teaching Interior Design in the Design Department at Santa Reparata International School of Art (SRISA) in Florence, Italy. Born in Florence in 1976, she has established herself as a significant figure in contemporary Italian architecture and architectural education.
- Graduated with honors in Architecture from the University of Florence in 2003
- Co-founded "Acme Architetture" in 2004, a professional network that won international design competitions
- Co-founded the "ottoperotto network" in 2005 to promote contemporary architectural culture in Florence
- Served as President of the Architect's Official Board of Florence from 2012
Pecchioli's research and teaching focus on the relationship between architecture and daily life. She emphasizes how design interacts with our use and appropriation of everyday spaces, bringing a dynamic learning process to her students. Her work bridges theoretical architectural concepts with practical urban interventions, particularly through temporary exhibitions and installations that engage with Florence's public spaces.
