Her academic background includes honors graduation from the University of Pisa with a thesis on Leoncillo Leonardi, followed by specialized postgraduate training (Scuola di Specializzazione) at the same institution focusing on František Kupka. She has studied in Italy, Luxembourg, and England (University College London).
- Research Focus: Critical analysis spanning Renaissance to Modern Art periods, with documented publications in both fields
- Teaching Specialties: Italian Renaissance, Contemporary Art, masters like Michelangelo/Bernini/Caravaggio, and interdisciplinary Neuroesthetics exploring creativity and brain function
Landra emphasizes experiential learning through daily museum instruction, contrasting her own art history education which lacked such opportunities. Her pedagogical approach centers on direct object-based analysis to inspire students through physical engagement with artworks.
