Cinthia Lopez is a Lecturer in the Department of Modern and Classical Languages and Literatures at Wichita State University's Fairmount College of Liberal Arts and Sciences. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education from Universidad Pedagógica Nacional Francisco Morazán (Honduras, 2010) and a Master of Arts in Spanish from Wichita State University. Prior to her role in the U.S., she taught Math, Science, and Physical Education at a high school in Honduras.
Her current research involvement includes collaboration with the Somos de Wichita project, funded by Kansas Humanities and Wichita State University. This initiative focuses on community-based research, likely emphasizing cultural and linguistic studies within the Wichita area.
Lopez's professional trajectory bridges her Honduran educational background with U.S. academic contributions, particularly in language education and community engagement. She brings practical classroom experience to her teaching roles, complementing her academic credentials.
