Cindy Wu serves as Associate Dean for Community, Teaching, and Learning and Professor of Management at Baylor University's Hankamer School of Business, where she has been faculty since 2003.

Professor Wu's research centers on employee wellbeing and leadership dynamics, specifically examining how workers recover from occupational stress and how organizations foster holistic employee flourishing through leadership interventions and work-life integration strategies. Her work bridges industrial-organizational psychology with practical human resource applications.
Her 2016-2022 publications reveal a methodological evolution toward experience sampling and multisource data collection, with increasing focus on micro-processes like break activities, role transitions, and customer-employee interactions. These studies consistently explore resource recovery mechanisms within service industries and organizational contexts.
She holds a Workplace Diversity and Inclusion certification from Cornell University and serves on the editorial board of the Journal of Leadership and Organizational Studies. Her teaching portfolio includes undergraduate and MBA-level Human Resource Management courses.
