Cindy Schipani is the Merwin H. Waterman Collegiate Professor of Business Administration and Professor of Business Law at the University of Michigan Ross School of Business. She holds a JD (Honors) from the University of Chicago and a BA (Honors) from Michigan State University. Her research focuses on corporate governance, gender diversity in leadership, fiduciary duties, and the role of business in fostering sustainable peace. She teaches courses on corporate governance, legal aspects of entrepreneurship, and cross-cultural negotiations.
