Cindy A. Schipani is the Merwin H. Waterman Collegiate Professor of Business Administration and Professor of Business Law at the University of Michigan's Ross School of Business. She holds a JD from the University of Chicago and a BA in Accounting from Michigan State University. Her research focuses on corporate governance, gender equity in leadership, and fiduciary duties, with a particular emphasis on pathways for women to attain organizational leadership roles. Schipani has taught courses on business law, corporate governance, and cross-cultural negotiations, and has been affiliated with the Weiser Center for Europe and Eurasia.
