Ciaran O'Neill is the Ussher Associate Professor in Nineteenth-Century History at Trinity College Dublin's Department of History. He serves as Deputy Director of Trinity Long Room Hub and co-directs the Trinity’s Colonial Legacies project with Dr. Patrick Walsh. His research focuses on Irish social/cultural history, colonial legacies, education elites, and public history.
