Dr. Patrick Walsh is an Associate Professor in Eighteenth-Century Irish History at Trinity College Dublin's Department of History. His research focuses on Ireland's colonial and imperial history, with a comparative perspective emphasizing economic history. He co-directs the Trinity Colonial Legacies project, a public history initiative collaborating with institutions like the Office of Public Works and the Royal Dublin Society.
