Christos Vasilakis is a Professor in the Department of Information, Decisions & Operations at the University of Bath, specializing in Operational Research and Management Science applied to healthcare. He serves as Management Director of the Centre for Healthcare Innovation and Improvement and contributes to the Centre for Bioengineering & Biomedical Technologies, Bath Institute for the Augmented Human, and the Centre for 21st Century Public Health.
His research focuses on advanced analytics for healthcare service planning, mathematical modeling of interventions, and simulation studies. He has collaborated with clinicians on surgical infections, stroke care, glaucoma, mental health, maternity services, and pandemic response strategies.
