Dr Christopher Yap is a Senior Research Fellow at City St George's, University of London, specializing in human geography with a focus on land, food, and governance systems. His work integrates political economy and political ecology frameworks to analyze socio-spatial dynamics across local, urban, and territorial scales.
- Co-Lead of the £2M UKRI-Defra-funded Joined Up Landscapes project on climate adaptation through nature-based solutions
- Investigator in the interdisciplinary FixOurFood program addressing UK food systems transformation
- Lead of Dissertation module for the MSc Food Policy program
His methodological expertise spans qualitative research, ethnography, and participatory action approaches, including participatory video-making.
