Dr. Christopher Watts is Associate Professor of Music and Director of the Newell Center for Arts Technology Education at St. Lawrence University. A composer and multimedia artist, he joined the university in 2002 and established the interdisciplinary NCAT facility in 2007.
Education includes:
- DMA from University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music
- MM from Louisiana State University
- BM from Furman University
Creative practice explores technology's intersection with human experience through music composition and multimedia performance. As NCAT director, develops technology-enabled interdisciplinary arts curricula bridging aesthetic traditions and digital innovation.
