Christopher Sun is an Assistant Professor at the University of Ottawa Telfer School of Management and a Scientist at the University of Ottawa Heart Institute (UOHI). He holds a cross-appointment at the University of Ottawa School of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science and is an Adjunct Scientist at the Institute of Mental Health Research at The Royal (IMHR).

- Ph.D. in Industrial Engineering (University of Toronto)
- Postdoctoral Fellowship at MIT's Sloan School of Management
His research integrates optimization, machine learning, and simulation techniques to redesign healthcare systems and public health policies, with a focus on health equity. Collaborations include Massachusetts General Hospital, Boston EMS, and Gentofte Hospital.
Professor Sun has received prestigious awards including the CIHR Vanier Canada Graduate Scholarship, American Heart Association Young Investigator Award, and the Citizen CPR Foundation 40 Under 40 Class of 2021.
He actively mentors undergraduate, Master's, and PhD students and offers opportunities for postdoctoral scholars through joint positions at Telfer and UOHI.
