Christopher Jeschelnik is a Lecturer at the School of Communication, Simon Fraser University, where he teaches courses in digital media communication and empirical research methods.
His educational background includes:
- PhD student in Educational Technology & Learning Design at Simon Fraser University (2012)
- M.A. in School of Communication at Simon Fraser University (2010)
- B.A. in School of Communication at Simon Fraser University (2003)
Jeschelnik's research focuses on multimodal composition and analysis, mediated dialogue, metadata and communication design, and situated pedagogical design. His work bridges theoretical frameworks with practical applications in educational technology and communication studies. He examines how different modes of communication interact and how dialogue is shaped through various media platforms.
Currently teaching CMNS 226 Digital Media Communication Techniques in Summer 2025 and CMNS 201W Empirical Communication Research Methods in Fall 2025, Jeschelnik brings his research expertise into the classroom to help students develop skills in digital media production and research methodology.
