Professor Sir Christopher Frayling is a distinguished academic and writer specializing in film, cultural history, and art & design education. He holds the title of Professor Emeritus at Lancaster University's Lancaster Institute for the Contemporary Arts (LICA), within the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences. Frayling is also Chancellor of Arts University Bournemouth and a Knight Bachelor (Knighted for Services to Art and Design Education in 2001). His career includes roles as Rector of the Royal College of Art, Trustee of the Victoria and Albert Museum, and Chair of the Royal Mint Advisory Committee.
