Dr. Christopher Amaral is an Assistant Professor of Marketing at the University of Bath, United Kingdom. His academic journey includes a PhD in Marketing (2020) from Queen’s University, an MBA (2014) from the University of Toronto, and a BComm (2010) from Ryerson University, Canada.
His research focuses on quantitative marketing analytics, employing empirical methods like econometric modeling and machine learning to address challenges in pricing, sales incentives, and marketing communication. He explores how AI can optimize lending practices and promote sustainable energy consumption in organizations.
Christopher’s scholarly work has been published in Production and Operations Management, European Journal of Marketing, and Journal of Retailing and Consumer Services. His research has been presented at leading conferences such as Marketing Science, INFORMS Revenue Management and Pricing Section, and academic institutions including the University of Sydney and Erasmus University.
