Christine McAuliffe

Christine McAuliffe is a Lecturer (Part-time) at the School of Pharmacy and Biomolecular Sciences, Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland (RCSI). She also serves as the Pharmacy Education and Research Manager at Tallaght University Hospital and holds a Clinical Pharmacist role at Tallaght Hospital. Her academic career includes a MPharm from RCSI and postgraduate training in Advanced Pharmacy Practice and Clinical Pharmacy.

Research Interests focus on cardiovascular diseases, anticoagulation therapy, geriatric pharmacotherapy, and pharmacy education. She leads interprofessional learning initiatives at RCSI and has contributed to studies on atrial fibrillation (AF) management, multi-morbidity, and deprescribing practices in older adults. Her work emphasizes interdisciplinary collaboration in healthcare education and clinical practice.

Recent Contributions include developing interprofessional healthcare team challenges to enhance collaboration and publishing on AF clinic outcomes, inappropriate prescribing in frail populations, and NOAC anticoagulant safety.
