John Hayden

John Hayden is a Senior Lecturer in the School of Pharmacy and Biomolecular Sciences at the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland (RCSI). He holds dual roles as a registered pharmacist and academic with expertise in pediatric clinical pharmacy, clinical trials, and pharmacy education. His primary research focuses on optimizing medicines use in children, particularly in cystic fibrosis and psychiatric conditions, supported by collaborations with Children’s Health Ireland and Temple Street. He leads RCSI’s engagement with clinical pharmacy partners and teaches across undergraduate pharmacy, medicine, and physiotherapy programs.
