Christine Coupland is Professor of Organisational Behaviour at Loughborough University's Business School. With a BSc in Business and Psychology from the University of Derby and a PhD in Organisational Behaviour from the University of Nottingham, her research centers on organizational identities, career sense-making, and discourse in professional settings. She received the British Academy of Management research medal in 2017 for her contributions to identities research.

Professor Coupland has significantly influenced identity research through editorial roles including co-editing special issues for Organization and Management Learning journals.
