Christina Carmichael is a Lecturer in Psychology at the University of East Anglia's School of Psychology since 2022. She holds a PhD from UEA's School of Social Work (2020), focusing on post-2010 austerity impacts on homelessness experiences and service provision. Previously, she worked as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at Anglia Ruskin University on the Horizon 2020-funded CANCERLESS project, co-designing cancer prevention programs for homeless populations. Her research emphasizes socially excluded groups, service design, and qualitative methodologies. She teaches undergraduate and postgraduate courses including Introduction to Psychology and Qualitative Research Methods. Her work contributes to UN Sustainable Development Goals addressing poverty reduction and health equity.
