Nicola Jones is a registered social worker and Lecturer in Social Work at the University of East Anglia's School of Social Work. She serves as Course Director for the Social Work Degree Apprenticeship programme and Disability Liaison Officer, with teaching focused on UEA's Integrated Social Work Degree Apprenticeship.
Her educational background includes:

Her research explores personalisation in adult social care, specifically examining impacts of personal assistance on disabled parents' relationships with children. Her work stems from direct experience supporting disabled people and families, with key interests in employer/employee dynamics for disabled personal budget holders and family-centered approaches for parents with learning difficulties. Current publications analyze children's perspectives on disabled parenting and professional attitudes toward parents with learning difficulties.
