Vicki Mcdermott-Thompson is a Lecturer in Psychology at the University of East Anglia (UEA), affiliated with the School of Psychology. She holds a PhD in Social Work from UEA and has extensive teaching experience, including roles at The Open University and City College Norwich. Her research focuses on adolescent and early adulthood intimate relationships, domestic violence, and gender-based issues, employing qualitative methods. She contributed to the NIH-funded PERFECTED study improving dementia care in hip fracture patients.

Labs/Teams: Active in UEA's Cognition, Action and Perception research group, contributing to UN Sustainable Development Goals related to health and gender equality.
