Dr. Christina Begka is a Research Fellow in Immunology at Monash University, affiliated with the Alfred Hospital precinct. She holds a PhD in Immunology and Cancer from the University of Lausanne, Switzerland. Her work focuses on fibrotic lung diseases, lung transplantation, and endoscopic methodologies. She leads a Dust Disease Board-funded project investigating therapeutic approaches for silicosis and collaborates on NHMRC-funded multi-omics analysis of lung transplant patients. Her research bridges translational immunology and clinical applications in respiratory medicine.
