Christian Konczal serves as the Director of Esports and a Faculty Member in the Creative Media Major at Champlain College. He holds an MFA in Emergent Media from Champlain College (2017) and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Vermont. His career focuses on integrating technology with education, particularly in collegiate esports and gender equity initiatives. Konczal has pioneered Champlain’s varsity esports program, leading to the college’s first championships in over 20 years. He previously developed a successful esports program at a Division II university, emphasizing operational management, scholarship fundraising, and player development.
