Dr. Christi Ivers is an Assistant Professor of Spanish at the University of Dallas, specializing in medieval and early modern Iberian literature and book history. She joined UD in 2019 and teaches both core Spanish courses and advanced literature seminars. Her research explores how material book culture shaped textual interpretation in pre-modern Iberia, focusing on printers' roles in shaping literary dissemination.

Awards include the 2023 Haggerty Excellence in Teaching Award and multiple Haggar Scholar Awards supporting her research. She currently serves as Editor for Information Technology at La corónica, a leading journal in medieval Hispanic studies.
