Chris Swan is a Professor in Civil and Environmental Engineering at Tufts University's School of Engineering, and concurrently holds roles as CEEO Fellow and Associate Dean of Diversity and Inclusive Excellence. He also serves as Professor in Tisch College. His research bridges sustainable development and engineering education, focusing on service-based learning, waste reuse, and soil behavior. Swan teaches courses on civil infrastructure and geotechnical engineering, emphasizing innovation in pedagogy and community engagement.
