Chou Mu-Yi is a Research Fellow at the European Research Center on Contemporary Taiwan, affiliated with Eberhard Karls University of Tübingen. She is concurrently a Ph.D. candidate in Political Science at Humboldt University of Berlin. Her research focuses on comparative political systems, particularly regime change dynamics and the evolution of state-society relations in Taiwan and China through the lens of NGO development. She holds a BA in Political Science from National Taiwan University and an MA in Comparative Politics from the University of Nottingham. During her fellowship (November 5–30, 2014), she contributed to interdisciplinary research on contemporary Taiwanese governance and civil society.
