Dr. Lee Yi-Li is a Research Fellow at the College of Law, National Taiwan University, where she has been serving since completing her Ph.D. in August 2014. Her research focuses on transitional justice, comparative constitutional frameworks, international human rights law, international humanitarian law, and international criminal law. She has explored the development and paradoxes between human rights and transitional justice in East Asia. During her academic career, she held a visiting fellowship at the European Research Center on Contemporary Taiwan (Oct. 29 – Dec. 7, 2015) at Eberhard Karls University of Tübingen, Germany. Her work bridges legal theory with practical governance challenges in transitional and comparative legal systems.
