Cheng-Ming Chiang

Cheng-Ming Chiang is a Professor in the Department of Biochemistry at UT Southwestern Medical Center. He earned his B.S. from National Taiwan University and his Ph.D. from the University of Rochester, followed by postdoctoral training at Rockefeller University. His research focuses on transcription, chromatin regulation, and molecular virology, particularly studying HPV-induced cancers and therapeutic compound development. He has held faculty positions at the University of Illinois and Case Western Reserve University before joining UT Southwestern in 2007.

Education: B.S., Agricultural Chemistry, National Taiwan University (1984); Ph.D., Biochemistry, University of Rochester (1991). Postdoctoral work with Robert Roeder at Rockefeller University.
