Chad Payton is an Associate Professor of Voice and Associate Dean of Student Success at the Conservatory of Music, Capital University. His teaching focuses on enhancing students' vocal skills and confidence through applied voice lessons (MU 480) and vocal pedagogy courses.
He is an accomplished performer with debuts at Carnegie Hall, Kennedy Center, and off-Broadway, as well as international appearances in Italy and Brazil. Dr. Payton also serves as a summer voice faculty member at the Seagle Festival, the nation's oldest opera and musical theatre training program.

Dr. Payton holds degrees in vocal performance from University of Kansas (DMA), University of Missouri (MM), and has taught applied voice lessons since 2010.
