Dr. Centaine Snoswell is a Senior Research Fellow and Senior Lecturer at the University of Queensland's School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences within the Faculty of Health, Medicine and Behavioural Sciences. She serves as an Affiliate of the Centre for Health Services Research and holds a clinical position at the Princess Alexandra Hospital where she leads pharmacy research. With cross-disciplinary expertise spanning health economics, pharmacy practice, and virtual health solutions, Dr. Snoswell focuses on optimizing healthcare outcomes through economically sustainable technology-driven services.
Dr. Snoswell holds a Bachelor of Pharmacy, Master of Public Health, and PhD from the University of Queensland, plus a Graduate Certificate in Economics from the University of New England Australia. Her educational background has equipped her with a unique blend of clinical pharmacy experience and health economics expertise.
Her research interests center on telehealth economics, pharmacy practice innovations, and smoking cessation programs. She has developed economically sustainable models for virtual health care implementation within the Australian health system, with particular focus on how technology and artificial intelligence can empower patients.
