Catherine Nora Moran is a Postdoctoral Researcher in Health Psychology at RCSI University of Medicine and Health Sciences. Her research investigates cognitive ageing, dementia, and rehabilitation interventions for post-stroke cognitive impairment.
Research Focus:
- Developing and evaluating cognitive rehabilitation protocols (StrokeCog-R trial)
- Establishing national stroke care audit standards in Ireland
- Examining mind-wandering patterns across age groups
- Assessing professional identity formation in medical education
She holds a PhD in Psychology from Trinity College Dublin and has published in Age and Ageing, Frontiers in Medicine, and HRB Open Research. Her RIA Charlemont Grant supports research on cognitive assessment in stroke and dementia populations.
