Catherine Langridge is a Senior Lecturer and the Adaptive Teaching and SEND Lead in the Department of Primary and Childhood Education at Edge Hill University. Her work focuses on inclusive education, adaptive teaching practices, and supporting learners with Special Educational Needs and/or Multiple Learning Difficulties. She holds an MA in Education from Edge Hill University (2017), a PG Cert in Teaching in Higher Education (2016), and a BA in Education with QTS (2007).

Her research explores social cohesion, behavior management in non-traditional settings, and the use of technology to support independent learning. She has presented at conferences on topics including multi-sensory teaching for Dyslexic learners and cultural capital promotion in early education.
