Dr. Catherine Lamond is a Senior Lecturer in Special Educational Needs, Disability and Inclusion Studies at the University of Wolverhampton’s School of Education. She serves as Course Leader for the Foundation Degree in Supporting Learning in Education and contributes to initiatives like the Aspire2Uni project, which supports young people in care through secondary education and into higher education or employment.

Research Interests:
Catherine focuses on social inclusion, particularly for care-experienced and estranged students, and promoting self-efficacy among learners from non-traditional backgrounds. Her work addresses systemic barriers in education and strategies for equitable student outcomes.
