Catherine Bourg Rebitch is an Associate Professor at the University of Pittsburgh School of Pharmacy, joining the faculty in 2019. She is a native of Pittsburgh and earned her PharmD from Duquesne University in 2009. Her clinical training includes PGY1 residency at West Virginia University Hospitals and PGY2 Ambulatory Care residency at the University of Georgia/Charlie Norwood VA. She previously served as faculty at the University of Georgia College of Pharmacy from 2011 to 2019.
Her expertise focuses on ambulatory care pharmacy, with a strong commitment to improving healthcare access for underserved populations. She maintains a clinical practice as a family medicine pharmacist at UPMC Matilda Theiss and volunteers at the 9th Street Clinic in McKeesport. Dr. Rebitch leads interprofessional initiatives under Pitt's Neighborhood Commitments to enhance health education and services in underserved urban areas.
In education, she co-coordinates the Pharmacist Patient Care 1 & 2 courses (P1) and contributes to Nonprescription Therapies & Self-Care (P2). She is affiliated with the Community Leadership and Innovation in Practice Center and represents Pitt Pharmacy in University-wide community engagement efforts.
