Dr. Lauren Eng serves as an Assistant Professor of Pharmacy Practice at Long Island University College of Pharmacy, joining the faculty in 2024 while maintaining clinical practice at One Brooklyn Health (Brookdale Campus) in Brooklyn, NY. She provides outpatient care in HIV primary care and hematology/oncology clinics for underserved populations.
Her educational background includes:
- Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) from University of Rhode Island College of Pharmacy (2022)
- PGY1 Residency at Stony Brook University Hospital
- PGY2 Ambulatory Care Residency at Long Island University/One Brooklyn Health
Dr. Eng's research focuses on HIV, hematology/oncology, ambulatory care, and underserved populations, with active projects in anticoagulation and primary care. She is pursuing board certification in ambulatory care and HIV Pharmacist credentialing through the American Academy of HIV Medicine.
As a preceptor for the PGY2 Ambulatory Care pharmacy residency, she has delivered 9+ continuing education lectures and conference presentations since 2022 on hepatitis management, medication safety, oncology emergencies, and renal care. Her professional service includes co-chairing the New York Council of Health System Pharmacists New Practitioners Committee (2023-2024).
She is actively engaged with the American Association of Colleges of Pharmacy, American College of Clinical Pharmacy, and New York Council of Health System Pharmacists.
