Courtney Koogler

Courtney Koogler, PharmD, BCPS, BCACP is an Adjunct Assistant Professor at the University of Kentucky's Department of Pharmacy Practice & Science. She holds a Doctor of Pharmacy and Global Health Certificate from the University of Kentucky. Her career includes PGY1 pharmacy practice residency and PGY2 ambulatory care training at UPMC St. Margaret, followed by a two-year interprofessional Faculty Development Fellowship focusing on teaching, leadership, research, and clinical care.

Her clinical interests center on interprofessional education, chronic disease prevention/management, and global health. She currently serves as a clinical pharmacist at St. Elizabeth Healthcare Family Practice Center and as faculty in their Family Medicine Residency Program. Her expertise includes CGM (diabetes) management and board certifications in pharmacotherapy and ambulatory care.

Dr. Koogler’s professional recognition includes the Excellence in Education award for her teaching excellence. She actively contributes to interprofessional collaborative care models and global health initiatives.
