Courtney Davis

Courtney Davis is a Clinical Associate Professor of Pharmacy Practice at the School of Pharmacy, University of Mississippi Medical Center (UMMC), where she teaches in the Pharm.D. program and contributes to residency training. She is actively involved in the PGY1 Community Pharmacy Residency Program and serves as a preceptor for PGY2 Ambulatory Care Residents. Her work spans teaching, clinical practice in diabetes care, and educational scholarship.

Her expertise is in both clinical pharmacy and innovative pedagogy.

Dr. Davis has been recognized for her excellence in teaching, including being named a Nelson Order inductee in 2021 and a candidate for the Teach Prize. She is board certified in Ambulatory Care and has held leadership roles in professional organizations such as the Mississippi Society of Health-Systems Pharmacists (MSPH), where she served as President.

In advising and grants, she co-advises the APhA-ASP chapter on the Jackson Campus and mentors pharmacy residents and students through structured preceptorship programs.
