Casey Love is a Senior Professor of Practice in the Department of Political Science at Tulane University. She also serves as Associate Dean and Director of the NTC Center for Global Education and as Co-Director of the Altman Program in International Studies and Business.
- Education: Ph.D. in Political Science (2005), M.A. in Latin American Studies (2000), B.A. in Political Science and Latin American Studies (1997) from Tulane University
Dr. Love specializes in US immigration policy, Mexican politics, U.S.-Latin American relations, comparative politics, and globalization. Her pedagogy emphasizes experiential learning, community engagement, and globalized approaches, including directing study abroad programs in Mexico, Costa Rica, Vietnam, and Thailand with integrated service-learning components.
Her teaching excellence has been recognized through multiple awards:
