Dr. Caroline Silva is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Psychiatry at the University of Rochester School of Medicine & Dentistry. Her research integrates the Interpersonal Theory of Suicide with cultural determinants to advance suicide prevention interventions for at-risk populations, particularly Hispanics, military service members, and clinical outpatients. She completed her PhD in Clinical Psychology at Florida State University and postdoctoral training at the Center for the Study and Prevention of Suicide at the University of Rochester.
