Megan C. Lytle-Flint

Megan C. Lytle-Flint is an Associate Professor in the Department of Psychiatry at the University of Rochester Medical Center. Her clinical and research expertise focuses on health disparities, particularly in suicide risks and mental health burdens among marginalized communities. She holds a Ph.D. in Counseling Psychology from Seton Hall University, with additional training at the University of Rochester Medical Center and the United Nations through the International Association of Applied Psychology NGO.

Research Interests: Dr. Lytle-Flint investigates social determinants of health, LGBTQ+ mental health, intersectionality in suicide risk, and community-based interventions. Her work addresses transgender healthcare disparities, religious influences on sexual minority mental health, and digital resource utilization for suicide prevention.

Publication Trends: Recent works emphasize gender expectations in cancer care, religiosity and sexual minority suicide, and digital mental health resources for youth. She also explores mindfulness interventions, intersectional identities, and late-career retirement theory.
