Dr. Caroline S. Parsons serves as Associate Professor and Coordinator of Internships and Field Experiences in the Department of Communication Studies at The University of Alabama, where she has shaped communication education for over three decades through innovative teaching and mentorship impacting hundreds of students.
Her academic foundation includes:
- Ph.D. from the University of Alabama
- M.A. from Ball State University
- B.A. from the University of Alabama
Parsons' research centers on communication pedagogy and experiential education, examining how hands-on learning cultivates student development in interpersonal communication and organizational leadership contexts. Her scholarship appears in journals including Communication Teacher and Journal of the Scholarship of Teaching and Learning, alongside co-authored books on honors communication education and critical decision-making frameworks.
